Jazz on the River is Columbia’s premier Jazz event — a celebration of Columbia Jazz at the Esplanade and Riverfront Park. Featuring local jazz artists, food trucks and a selection of local brews, Jazz on the River has quickly become a highly anticipated community event every week for many across the city of Columbia.
I got to work with the creators of the event to bring to life the spirit and fun of JotR through its branding. My team and I sought to create a brand identity that would capture the lifelong memories that are formed weekly on the river.
We created a sponsorship brochure that will serve to connect local businesses to the event and provide opportunities for them to help support and grow this special event. We also made a guest brochure to highlight some of the key details of the festivities. It’s available to guests to get an idea of the heart of JotR, get familiar with additional opportunities available (like a special romantic date night package), and recognize the wonderful businesses sponsors partnering with the event.
This logo was created for the event. The "J" shows a music note in its from and negative space and the logo overall has a sophisticated feel in order to attract a more mature crowd to the event.
This sponsorship brochure was distributed throughout the community to showcase the event and bring in community partners to support its operations. The event brochure was shared with all attendees to highlight community partners and performers.
